jaghouse & i had a nice snow ride today on our bikes equipped with studded snow tyres...
we began our journey through city park and did some frozen pond riding...jaghouse was apprehensive...but after stomping on the ice and riding my bike across...he was assured he wouldn't be plunging to the cold depths below...
continuing on...we saw a couple of dogs out for a run...following their owner who was driving around city park in...as you would guess...an suv...the saddest thing is that this was obviously not the first time this had occurred...as the dogs knew exactly what to do...they maintained about a one hundred foot distance from the vehicle as they romped through the snow...sad...
not much else to mention that is of great importance...coralville needs to take a lesson from iowa city and north liberty though and plow their share of bike paths...
oh and frozen gutter waterfalls are a neat thing...
