Okay, IBC readers, tomorrow is the presidential inauguration, and it does not matter if you supported Bush or Kerry (or Cobb!), you have to accept GW as the leader of your nation for the next 4 years. However you feel about the coming term, sitting around arguing over the pros and cons of the Bush Administration isn't the best way to spend precious time and energy. Why not resolve to do what you can in order to make this community/country/world a better place for yourself and others? Why wait for our leaders to do it for us when we all have means to do it for ourselves? It can be as simple as volunteering at a shelter or riding your bike to work. I'm going to learn to speak Spanish! Four years to a better me and you and nation and world, too.

I just started my first semester back to school to earn my teaching certification. I believe education is a key to improving life, and there are so many ways to be educated! Everyone is intelligent in their own way... textually, musically, bioesthetically, visually, naturistically, etc. I hope to help people discover their strengths and then improve upon them. Hooray for big brains!! Hooray for making the world better!!
