No, I don't think I left the Broken Spoke until about 5:30 that night. I figured it was probably for the best anyway, since I had just picked up the Schwinn and the Mass probably isn't the best venue to take my fixie out for the first time. :-)

I am curious as to whether or not it's still going on though.

As many of you know I am an active person which is to say that I engage in activities and occasionally this is brought to the attention of major corporations and they send me mail. This morning I was leafing through a Patagonia "HEART OF WINTER" catalog that was printed in the USA on recycled paper by wind power yet delivered by fossil fuel and I saw that they are offering the "Critical MassĀ® Bag" to help active folk like me live activelier or whatever. So now that Critical Mass has been trademarked the folks out riding on the last friday of the month will have one more enemy to worry about, the Patagonia legal department. I suppose now I have to start a Patagonia Sucks thread...

Well hopefully Patagonia wont go as far as to pick on critical mass rides. I guess it was bound to happen as this is the economic environment that persists. Patagonia seems like a decent company.
